Seeking Sr. Designer

Job Summary (Will work from home until NAS Pensacola re-opens for all personnel)

  • Develop, review and provide feedback on pre-training designs, implementation plans and evaluation workshops in support of RRL
  • Travel to Military/DoD learning sites to evaluate resources, infrastructure and compare with implementation plans. (travel on hold due to Covid-19)
  • Ensure accurate job requirements are available/utilized
  • Ensure training aligns to requirements of military training standards
  • Experience in ADDIE and ISD computer applications
  • Identify any discrepancies between media/technology and learning requirements
  • Ensure proper assessment and evaluation strategies are in place and support the work requirements
  • Work well and produce within a team environment as well as working independently
  • Analyze Training
  • Write, develop and present reports to all levels of management/command
  • Conduct Feasibility Studies
  • Conduct Facility Studies
  • Scope existing training programs and determine what is current and valuable to future training
  • Design/develop Excel spreadsheets for various data manipulation applications
  • Develop TCCDs and/or Training plans
  • Work well within a team setting but also capable to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Willingness to perform jobs/tasks outside of your specific job description when needed
  • Bachelors degree highly desired but military hands-on experience will also be considered
  • Must have an active Secret level security clearance or be within the re-activation window
  • Will work remotely until DoD authorizes the Pensacola military installations to reopen

Specific Experience Requirements:

Experience or related experience in all phases of instructional system development including planning, coordination, implementation, revision, presentation, and maintenance of training programs.

Additional experience including current instructional delivery technologies, operational training devices, and interactive courseware systems; leadership of at least one multi-disciplinary training development team; functional understanding of ISD products and services; and a broad understanding of current technical issues and training system design and development trends.


An active security clearance or be within the re-activation window is required
