Instructional Media Technologist

The ASTA Group (ASTA) is seeking an experienced Instructional Media Technologist to provide support to a military (Navy/Marines) training development team. You will recommend instructional media to support modernized training content delivery.  You will assist with evaluation of emerging technologies and troubleshoot and resolve media errors and data processing issues.

An Instructional Media Technologist collaborates with instructors and instructional designers to identify the best uses for technology in instruction, considering many factors, including cost, usability, security, accessibility, and ability to meet the specific learning or teaching goals.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • A degree in a related discipline is desired but not required if you have 3-5 years of experience
  • Experience working with military training development is a plus, but other related disciplines will be reviewed and considered
  • US Security clearance is required– active or previously held and eligible for reinstatement
This is a full-time position, requiring a 40-hour work week, Monday-Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
