ASTA AND THE ALDRIN FOUNDATION LAUNCH STARBASE PATRICK

PENSACOLA, FL MARCH 1, 2020: The ASTA Group LLC and the Aldrin Family Foundation (AFF) are partnering to open STARBASE Patrick, a STEM Academy for at risk 5th graders in Brevard County, Florida. The center, located at Patrick Air Force Base, will serve the public school system throughout the year to reinforce science, technology, engineering and mathematics through a specialized curriculum developed by the Department of Defense. During the summer months, STARBASE Patrick intends to invite children on base for camps. The AFF has generously provided Giant Mars and Moon Maps™ to foster excitement in children in an interactive way. ASTA leads the onsite effort and employs six on-site professionals to include directors, teachers, and aides.
